So after Saturday’s saga in my compound, I woke up Sunday morning and the neighbors refused to talk to me or answer my greetings.
I didn’t even care.
This morning, I woke up to have my bath and discovered the toilet and bathroom doors were locked.
So I started shouting like a mad man in the compound.
“Who lock toilet? Who lock toilet when him know say today na Monday and I never baff? Who lock this toilet make him open am now o.”
Nobody answered me.
Everyone just went about their normal business like I was a ghost.
I asked the Aunty who was putting make-up and drawing eye pencil on her face who locked the toilet. Aunty just turned her face away and continued drawing her future on her face.
I looked around and discovered everyone had already had his or her bath.
Uncle was already wearing his tie.
The other one was wearing shoes.
They had all woken up as early as 5am to have their bath and they were now preparing for work.
Without asking further questions, I fetched water and washed my face, hands, legs, and armpit in the compound.
I went inside my room and cleaned my body with towel and wore my clothes.
But before I left, I took an extra key to lock the compound gate.
I didn’t even brush my mouth.
I took my brush with me to work.
Let me see how they will go to work today.
Wickedness is still wickedness.
We would continue like this until we solve the matter and everybody develop sense.
